8 reasons why you should watch Madagascar The Musical this December 2019

It’s no secret that the 2005 smash-hit film Madagascar has been well received by kids and young adults, not to forget its catchy tune “I like to Move It, Move It”! Madagascar has now been brought to life on stage in an all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza. Here are 8 reasons why you should catch Madagascar The Musical this 5 to 8 December at Plenary Hall, KLCC.

1. A Catchy Story Based on the hit animated motion picture, Madagascar the Musical is centred around Alex the Lion and his friends Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo who all reside at the New York’s Central Park Zoo where they have spent their whole lives in a confined area. Curious to see what else is out there, Marty escapes from the zoo and his friends follow. One event lead to another and before long, our four friends find themselves washed ashore on Madagascar and into the zany world of King Julien.

 2. Great Characters No musical is complete without a memorable cast. In this case, it’s Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the Hippo and of course those hilarious penguins who make the musical a hit! Also joining these popular characters is King Julien, the hyperactive, egotistical King of the Lemurs with a hilarious accent and some serious dance moves.

 3. Entertaining Music Scores and Choreography Everyone loves the movie’s hit song “I like to Move It, Move It”. Musical choreographer Fabian Aloise put together a really cool and fun dance sequence to go with the same song; you’ll be tempted to dance along while watching the musical!

 4. The show has many L-O-L moments Who doesn’t love a good laugh... and with Madagascar the Musical, lots of laughter is a guarantee. Especially with King Julien’s witty humour, hilarious accent and amusing antics – you’ll be laughing till your tummy aches!

 5. Incredible costumes and makeup It will be interesting to see the many different costumes and makeup at the musical. Every character has their own special costumes, like King Julien who has to wear a huge winter jacket and dance around with it!

 6. Love the movie? You’ll love this too!Imagine the movie coming to live on stage! To achieve this, various props are used to “re-create” each scene, especially the island of Madagascar. Special lighting is engaged to bring out the mood for each scene while the music will get you off and on your feet!

 7. Fun for all The musical is perfect for both adults and kids, and is a great activity to do together during the school holidays while introducing your young kids to wildlife and different animals. Sing and dance to the catchy tunes; you might end up with some serious dance moves.

8.   Get your kids involved What better way to introduce theatre and musical arts to your loved ones but through entertaining and memorable shows like this one! This family-friend show attracts with its cool stage presence and awesome visuals that will leave you and your kids wanting more.

Back to Nature at Tanah Aina Fareena

Me and my parents went to Tanah Aina Fareena Cafe and Restaurant at Pahang, it took us about one hour to reach the place. We were really hungry since we did not eat breakfast.

We used WAZE to go to Tanah Aina so it is easier to see where is the turning to the Tanah Aina parking space. Most poeple would have been lost because the signboard was so small and also you couldn't see the turning.

We did reached at the parking space and we did not see the real place. It was just an actual parking lot over there. We were told that there were a way under the bridge. Under the bridge there was another bridge that was attach from the car park to the Restaurant. It was my first time seeing something unik like this.

We took the bridge to the restaurant, along the way we felt like we were back to nature.  The place is so beautiful and amazing, this place is suitable for people who like nature. The place is huge and it looks like we were in someone house. The place looks very fancy.

I sat down and ordered a drink while waiting for everyone to arrive to the place. As normal when everyone has arrive we started to group up and take some pictures of the place. We went for a tour around the place. The place has three floors.

We went to the third floor to take pictures then went down to second floor to have lunch, finally. We had a lot of food, i mean a lot. We had Tanah Aina Fish Head Curry, Tomyam Seafood, Ikan Siakap Tiga Rasa, Ikan Talapia Steam Nyonya, Kangkung Belacan and more.

Tanah Aina Fish Head Curry - RM55
Tomyam Seafood – (Price : S – RM20 | M – RM39 | L – RM65)

Mongolian Beef – M – RM45 | L – RM65

Ikan Siakap 3 Rasa – (follow market price)

Puff(BIG) - RM 12

This is how our table looks like.

After eating we saw a river and we were sad because we did not bring some extra clothes with us. If not we could have just jump right into the water.

I am just so bad with posing

Anyway after we took some photos my parents ate durian but i didn't cause i don't like it.  After that we went back home with a full stomach.

New Taste Of Nasi Padang In Town!

In the morning my parents and I were out early  because we had an appointment with my dentist. After the appointment we just realized that we had finished early, my aunt was desperate to eat nasi padang for a long time.

We all agreed to eat nasi padang at the place we always go to. If I am not mistaken, the shops name is Restaurant Grand Seri Garuda Emas in chowkit. We were in the car stuck in a jam and suddenly  we saw this big signboard written Sedehana.

Actually there is a branch near our house but we never get to go the because we were to busy. The shop was still new and there wasn't a lot of customers. We parked the car and got down and saw the place was so clean. There a lots of food to eat but some of it they kept it because of hygiene.

The first thing I saw was my all time favorite  food, it was  Chicken Gulai. My life would not me complete without Chicken Gulai. We actually took a lot of food such as Chicken Sambal Hijau,  Masak Lemak Squid, Sayur Lodeh, and Chicken pop.

FRIED CHICKEN
CHICKEN WITH RED SAMBAL

CHICKEN WITH GREEN SAMBAL
FRIED FISH

EGG SAMBAL
I ate two plate of rice because the rice is very little but other then that everything is fine. The place is still very new so I recommend you guys to come at any branch and eat cause it is worth it. The food is like heaven. The famous Sederhana branch is at chow kit but we at at the new branch in Kampung Baru.

Other then what we order there's a lot of other food. There is Fried Fish, Chicken with Red Sambal, Fried Chicken, Beef Murtabak and more. The price is also very reasonable.  This is going to be my next place to eat Nasi Padang other than Restaurant Grand Seri Garuda Emas. After we finished eating, my mum brought home some Beef Murtabak.

THIS IS THE THINGS WE OREDER.

THIS IS THE EVIDENCE THAT TELLS YOU THE FOOD IS SO DELICIOUS.
 EVEN MY PARENTS LOVED IT.

To me the food here is nice, although it is very expensive but it is worth it for you to eat the food there. I can't tell the detail's of how the food really taste cause I want you guys to go there and try eat the food.

Ramadhan Buffet At Anjung Patin Ville

We're in the fasting month already. My parents and I went to KL to have a ramadan buffet. My aunt drove us there. My mum told her to drive slowly so that we can reached there just before breaking fast but we reached there quiet early.

I was amazed when I reached there. The place is so beautiful.  The place is made like a village, there a pool, a beautiful cottage and also a small water fall. We took some pictures outside where the foods are placed.

After taking some photos outside we when inside. It looks like we were in someone's house. The house has two private rooms, kitchen, hot tub, and praying room. The praying room is on the second floor of the house.  The house is just so beautiful

The place is very cozy and cooling. I really like the place. The price is about RM60per adult and RM25per child for every minimum of 35 dishes for every buka puasa buffet. The food that are served are Patin Asam Tempoyak, Ayam Masak Merah, Beef Curry, Chicken Curry and more.

My favourite was the Ayam Masak Merah cause I took the same thing for at least two or three times. The place is more to VIP, cause of the price. It is not cheap to eat patin, it will cost RM8-RM98 per 100 grams but don't worry cause the food is really nice in my opinion.

My aunt wasn't very happy with the food because my mum told her the food was actually better then this the last time. She hopes that the chef will try harder to make the food taste good and also add more food to the menu.

What is autoimmune disease

It's been years since my aunt had allergies. She always try to diet and choose the right food to eat but it seems like everything she eat's she'll get allergy. Sometime the allergy will make her throat swollen and it will make her harder to breath. She also did fall two time while she was stretching.

She went to the hospital to get a blood test  but we only knew that it was an autoimmune disease. Well there is so many kind that of autoimmune but we do not know which one. What is the cause of the autoimmune system. I don't really know about autoimmune system but I have done some research on it.

What does your immune system do?
The immune system, which is made up of special cells, proteins, tissues, and organs, defends people against germs and microorganisms every day.  The immune system does a great job of keeping people healthy and preventing infections. But sometimes, problems with the immune system can lead to illness and infection.

Disorders of the immune system can be broken down into four main categories:

  • immunodeficiency disorders (primary or acquired)
  • autoimmune disorders (in which the body's own immune system attacks its own tissue as foreign matter)
  • allergic disorders (in which the immune system overreacts in response to an antigen)
  • cancers of the immune system

Well, autoimmune disease happens when your immune system mistakenly attacks your body. A healthy immune system can tell the differences between foreign cells and your own cells but when it comes to an autoimmune system, your immune system misrepresent your body part such as your joints and your skin as a foreign. It releases proteins called as autoantibodies  that attacks your own  healthy cells.

Autoimmune system can affect many parts of your body. There is more then 100 autoimmune disease. There are some symptoms such as fatigue. Fatigue means a person who is extremely tired and exhausted. Not only fatigue but also muscle ache and low fever. Autoimmune disease can also cause redness, heat, pain, and swelling.

Doctor will give you some steroids called Corticosteroids or Glucocorticoids. This is to reduce the immune response to your body. I will be writing more about autoimmune disease in my next blog.
